fullscreen and twin view

Postby hedron » 11 Dec 2008 07:01

In order to enter fullscreen mode I have to click > interface > minimal view then > interface > Toggle Fullscreen Interface. If I simply press "f" it scales to both screens and covers my second monitor. Pressing F11 does nothing. Is there some setting somewhere I can rectify this issue so I can press "f" and enable fullscreen on only one monitor?

I'm guessing this probably has something to do with the fact I disabled xinerama while compiling it and in xorg.conf. Somewhere on this forum someone suggested changing a setting regarding RGB > YUF or something like that, but I could not find it. I've also tried everything obvious in the preferences, like alternative fullscreen method and different output methods, but none seemed to have any effect other than opengl crashing VLC everytime I started a movie.

I'm using 0.9.3, I'll upgrade soon, but I'm not sure this is a bug.

specs: bluewhite64 12.1 kernel 2.6.27.6 pentium dual core 3GHz Nvidia GTX 260 v177.82

Should be fixed in 0.9.6 and over.
