I have a HP 2133 Mininote with Suse Linux Enterprise Desktop 10 and I tried everything explained here but nothing works.
How can I install VLC successfully?
Thanks for your answers :)

Same problem here. I bought two HP 2133 for my family. The problem is that SLED 10 is based on opensuse 10.1 and it is not officially supported by vlc team any more.

VLC is great software, I really like VLC and have used it on all my computers for a long time. Many thanks to VLC team. My humble question to VLC team: Could you still provide a rpm for opensuse 10.1, even an unofficial one? :(

Thanks for the answer and the link. I copied sources and will check building procedure tomorrow. Btw. looks like vlc is having a lot of deps, they might cause some problems? Does vlc-0.9.5 source package contain all needed or should I build some other packages also?
