Command line only?

Postby hal9020 » 15 Oct 2008 18:02

Hello,
Is there any option to build VLC with just the cvlc command line utility?
I just use it for audio, and do not want all the video codecs or GUI stuff.
Cheers.

Don't activate the UI.

Hello,

I am as well looking for a way to build vlc as minimalistic as possible for my needs. Say: only command line, and only audio (mp3, ogg/vorbis, aac) for ARM-architecture.
To be honest, I'm a little lost in the huge amount of options the configure script has. Could you be so kind and give me some hints?

I would appreciate any help.

Best regards
