Compile VLC 0.9.2 on Ubuntu 8.0.4

Postby yinglcs » 10 Oct 2008 23:21

Hi,

I tried to download the source of vlc 0.9.2 and compile it on ubuntu 8.0.4:
../configure --prefix=/home/scheung/bin --enable-snapshot --enable-debug --enable-dbus-control --enable-musicbrainz --enable-shared-libvlc --enable-mozilla --enable-lirc --with-ffmpeg-tree=../extras/ffmpeg --enable-shout --enable-taglib --enable-v4l --enable-dvb --enable-realrtsp --disable-xvmc --enable-svg --enable-dvdread --enable-dc1394 --enable-dv --enable-theora --enable-faad --enable-twolame --enable-real --enable-flac --enable-tremor --enable-skins2 --enable-qt4 --enable-ncurses --enable-aa --enable-caca --enable-esd --disable-portaudio --enable-jack --enable-xosd --enable-galaktos --enable-goom --enable-ggi --disable-cddax --disable-vcdx --disable-quicktime --enable-lua --disable-live555

The compile works, but when i load a flv file with it, there are blue lines across the screen on vlc and color does not look correct (too pale).

but when I view the same file using totem (default ubuntu player), it is fine.

Can you please tell me if how can i fix it? I attached a screenshot.

Thank you.
