No icons on VLC GUI

Gentoo 2.6.25-r7
vlc with wxGTK

I get everything to compile just fine and can watch all the media I could ever want to. The only problem is my icons for the buttons just aren't there.

Running "vlc -v --reset-plugins-cache" comes up with:

I've been searching and all I can come up with is the no GUI problem. Which I really don't have, I have a GUI... just not icons...

Sorry, forgot to put some version info...

wxGTK - 2.8.7.1-r1
vlc - 0.9.2

Don't know of anything else that might be needed, but ask and I'll get it.

First you are displaying Qt interface.
Then you are missing the resource files. rcc does work on your system?

I noticed he is having the same issue as I am in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=50414

Although his is a little more extreme. I'm wondering if this is a gentoo specific issue.

No, your compilation didn't compile the resource file correctly.
