VLC on Linux(Debian) with 4-speaker output?

Postby Bendit » 15 Aug 2008 19:18

Guys, this is just a general question about Linux, mostly.

Can Linux output to 4-speaker like a Windows system can?

does it have the right drivers for it in most cases?

Can VLC then use that output and produce quad surround sound like I do on my Vista machine? (2-front, 2-rear output)

Thanks for any info! CHEERS!
