I have just installed vlc-0.8.6e for SuSE 10.3 (X86_64).

DVD is working fine but can I also use it to watch flash player videos like in Adobe flash player from the Internet?

I started VLC from the bash to follow the error messages.

I tried to go to "Open Network Stream" and put in http something like

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wae5Vm2EuMA

When I try to play it I get the message:

[00000285] main playlist: nothing to play

When I try this URL

http://www.myvideo.de/watch/365211

I get these error messages:

libdvdnav: Using dvdnav version 0.2.0cvs from http://dvd.sf.net
libdvdread: Using libdvdcss version 1.2.9 for DVD access
libdvdread: Can't stat /watch/365211/Diana_haddad
No such file or directory
libdvdnav: vm: failed to open/read the DVD
[00000428] main input error: no suitable access module for `/watch/365211/Diana_haddad'
[00000285] main playlist: nothing to play

All this seems very strange to me so I am wondering whether I am trying to do something complety wrong.

Perhaps someone has a hint for me.
