VLC can't recognize the input's format

Postby novell1 » 26 Dec 2007 11:08

Hi,

I am new to VLC and Linux (opensuse 10.2). I get an error with same files (VLC can't recognize the input's format). Is this a linux or a codex problem? Where can I find the log for details? I get all the 777 file rights. The small file idx is there...???
VLC can't recognize the input's format:
The format of '/mnt/raid5/pvr/Film1 - Do 15-06-2006 22%3A25%3A00.idx' cannot be detected. Have a look the log for details.

How can I fix this?

Thanks a lot!
