As I Expect, you will probably need vlc without Xorg
Debian provides vlc-nox and Fedora 8 recently provides vlc-core (or vlc-nox )

Which is you targeted distro ?

Once that said, the videolan team are probably the most appropriate persons to ask for this task in a "certified" way...

Thanks a lot for aswering. I am newbie at VLC so I do not know what do you mean by Xorg

I will ask my Hosting provider to inform me.

What I would like to do is to o is broadcasting Live TV? Is this possible with VLC where could I see a site where you guys are using VLC?
