VLC on OpenSuse 10.3 - streaming encoding problem

Hi everybody!
I'm a veteran with VLC's streamings but only under windows, because on linux I've encountered some problems, infact, Although I set the Kbps for the video encoding to eg. 256 and audio eg. 1 channel and 64 Kbps, in the statistics I saw the Kbps of the original source file for video and audio outgoing... I do not really know how it can be possible... I had think that I miss some libs... but I had installed all the pack in the repository...
Please help me... I'm dead without VLC...
I'm using:
Distro: OpenSuse 10.3 (with KDE 3.5.7 "release 72.2")
kernel: Linux 2.6.22.12-0.1-default i686
CPU: Mobile AMD Sempron(tm) Processor 3000+; 1.800,00 MHz
RAM: 725 MB

seems like a dependency problem between conflicting ffmpeg versions.

I retrieve the packages via packman repository and the videolan repository (both for OpenSuse 10.3)...
the output for "rpm -q ffmpeg vlc libmpeg2" is:

but i tried also the no svg/cvs version and the no PackMan version... in many combinations, while I've try a stream, I've only a green screen and some time no audio!
