vlc 0.9 svn #22060 - no suitable interface module [solved]

Still stuck with this problem on opensuse 10.2, KDE 3.5.7 R74.2. Every module can't be loaded because of "
undefined symbol: vlc_entry__memcpymmx " error. This anomaly come along with a very big rpm package size (58 MB).

This has already been discussed at viewtopic.php?f=13&t=40255

I have noticed that this was linked with a KDE update. Since the day where I believed this problem was solved, there has been 2 KDE maintenance release update. Both showed this problem.

Any idea ?

try uninstalling vlc from /usr (and especially libvlc) before building

ok : problem solved, I have messed up my environment, while keeping a vlc 0.8.6c rpm package installed.

After I have uninstalled it, restarted from a clean tree and rebuilt all, evrything is ok. And no more 60 MB sized binary !!!

Thanks !
