Running two instances of VLC (oss audio output error)

Hi,

Iam receiving two video streams through different interfaces on the same machine (ubuntu). The first video stream runs with no problem but the 2nd one gives the following error:

oss audio output error: cannot open audio device (/dev/dsp)

The video for the 2nd one runs fine but no audio. How can let the 2nd instance of VLC also use the audio device ? any suggestions ?

thank you for your time!
