How can I change the title bar?

Postby vlcLinuxUser » 05 Jul 2007 19:14

Need to build VLC on centOS5 (RHEL5), x86 arch.

I need to change (customize) the title-bar (from "VLC media player").

* Is there a way to do this w/o having to rebuild vlc from src?
E.g. environment vars, command-line args, etc.

* If the answer to the above question is: NO, how can I do this programatically? Which file, etc?

* I did notice that there's a patch fix for this issue under windows OS.

I am new to VLC, this forum and would really appreciate some help in this area to get going.

Many thanks in advance,

No. You need to recompile.

You should look in modules/gui/wxwidgets/ and grep there.
