Hey,

I think you need the wxGTK (and probably the wxGTK-compat too). These are listed if you use YaST and if you type in these package names in the search form.

I did, but yast throws up 'no result'. i tried to download the rpm but it needs a libexpat.so.0 and i am trying to get that now. not too successful.

Arch,

by 'suse 10', do you refer to SUSE Linux 10.0 or to a SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10?

for the latter, please be sure to use the 10.1 repository! SLED is NOT SUSE Linux 10.0, but is binary compatible to the SUSE Linux 10.1 (is a bit confusing)

The dependenices should then completely be solved without any issues.

Thanks, Dominique.

The OS is SLED 10.

Did see a similar post somewhere and managed to get VLC installed.
I still have problems playing DVDs though. The VLC window either just goes off, or does not show anything. Don't know how to resolve that.

Would appreciate any help you can offer.
