Hi,

I am using VLC with the remote interface under Kubuntu and don't want the graphical user interface to be shown. Is there something like --rc-quiet found in the windows version with which I can stop this from happening under linux?

My current command line options are "--intf rc --rc-host=localhost:3131"

Thank you in advance

Found the answer myself. --no-show-intf was what I was looking for. The actual problem was that bringing up the remote interface was failing though, so it was using the gui instead. *DOH*
