all we got is stop-time which is not good
many dvb players out there have option to split the video files.
I wish I could do this to for my VOD server,
I want to record all programs and split at given time
(not just after n second constantly)
I want to split like this:

2:30 to 10:00 am
10:00am to 6:00pm
6:00pm to 11:00pm
Tuesday Jan 2:
12:00am to 4:00 am
4:00am to 6:30 am
6:30am to 10:00 am
10:00am to 6:00pm
6:00pm to 11:00pm
how to do this? scripting? where should I start to learn?
I've read about schedule with telnet internet by vlc
but there is no help or guide,
will it do exactly like this?
