ubuntu libdvdcss2 install

Postby lawson23 » 14 Feb 2007 15:33

Followed this guide in setting up ubuntu:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/MythT ... a5fc97ee74

Now I'm trying to install libdvdcss2
following these command line instructions.
http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-ubuntu.html
But I get

Code: Select all

apt-get install libdvdcss2 Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done Package libdvdcss2 is not available, but is referred to by another package. This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or is only available from another source E: Package libdvdcss2 has no installation candidate root@SERV3R1:~# Package libdvdcss2 has no installation candidate
I have tried these in my sources.list

#libdvdcss2 videolan.org source
deb http://medibuntu.sos-sts.com/repo/ edgy free
deb http://medibuntu.sos-sts.com/repo/ 6.10 free
deb http://packages.freecontrib.org/ubuntu/plf/ edgy-plf free non-free
deb http://packages.freecontrib.org/ubuntu/plf/ 6.10-plf free non-free

They all give me the same results.
here is what I have setup in my sources.list
deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ edgy main restricted universe multiverse
deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ edgy-updates main restricted universe mul$
deb http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ edgy-security main restricted universe m$
