trouble with X-shell

Hello
'vlc' runs in a Bash of a 'Linux from scratch' without problems. The start of the X-shell fails with this message:
VLC media player 0.8.5 Janus
starting VLC root wrapper... using UID 0 (root)

It is potentially dangerous, and might not even work properly.
[00000256] main dialogs provider error: no dialogs provider module matched "any"
[00000253] skins2 interface error: no suitable dialogs provider found (hint: compile the wxWidgets plugin, and make sure it is loaded properly)
[00000253] skins2 interface: skin: VLC 0.8.5 Default Skin author: aLtgLasS
Where I can find the 'wxWidgets plugin'? I use the slackware version.
