Depuis a tentative de màj vlc en 0.8.6a problèmes

Bonjour les amis et une bonne et heureuse année 2007 à tous.

Depuis a tentative de màj vlc en 0.8.6a et faute d'avoir réussi à faire marcher mes mods freeplayer et ayant eu des problèmes de fonctionnement avec vlc (que du son, pas de vidéo avec les .avi !) je suis revenu à mon ancienne config vlc à savoir 0.8.6. Malheureusement les problèmes perdurent ! rien ne marche ni music ni films ni photos. Vous trouverez ci-après le log d'erreur après la tentative de lecture d'un fichier avi. Merci pour vos lumières.

Dear Jean-Baptiste,

I have done what you have proposed (i.e. removing the .vls directory) the situation remain the same ! More explicitely, I can hear the sound of the film but no way for having a video display window ! I am disappointed

P.S. I had allready done the removing .vlc directory before with kde interface ans not in a terminal ! But I did not reboot the computer. This time even a reboot did not change any thing

Problem solved !

It seems that this was a problem related to ffmpeg, library modified during the update processus ; Now that I tried to harmonise all the libraries related to vlc and it worked I again hve my video display in vlc with my avi's

P.S. But I will not make the 0.8.6a update, I have lost 2 days !

The 0.8.6a is a *SECURITY* release. Therefore be very careful using untrusted playlist from the Internet !

Thanks for your advice Jean-Baptiste, By the way I don't use much untrusted playlists from web.
