I am trying to compile (and get to work) VLC 0.9.0 SVN daily build 20061210. The compiling works and then I can start the telnet interface using "vlc -I Telnet --sout-transcode-fps 23.9760 --sout-transcode-width 720 --sout-transcode-height 576 --sout-transcode-deinterlace".
However, when connecting to the interface using the following commands
new mvpmc broadcast enabled
setup mvpmc input "/opt/films/My Film.avi"
setup mvpmc output #transcode{vcodec=mp2v,vb=4192,venc=ffmpeg{keyint=3},scale=1,audio-sync,soverlay,deinterlace,width=720,height=576,
canvas-width=720,canvas-height=576,canvas-aspect=4:3,fps=25.0000,acodec=mpga,ab=192,channels=2}:duplicate{dst=std{access=http,mux=ts,dst=:5212}}
setup mvpmc option sout-http-mime=video/mpeg
control mvpmc play
I get the following error:
[00000843] [Media: mvpmc] main private: creating httpd
[00000874] [Media: mvpmc] a52 packetizer: A/52 channels:6 samplerate:48000 bitrate:448000
No accelerated IMDCT transform found
[00000879] [Media: mvpmc] a52 decoder: A/52 channels:6 samplerate:48000 bitrate:448000
[00000909] [Media: mvpmc] main private error: no crop padd module matched "any"
So, it appears I don't have a "crop padd module" compiled in. Which leads me to the real questions: What is a crop padd module, and how do I add it to the compiling options.
I did think that it might have been an option I forgot on the ffmpeg compilation, but the VLC configure log states that the swscale is present for ffmpeg:
configure:47393: checking ffmpeg/swscale.h presence
configure:47408: gcc -std=gnu99 -E -DSYS_LINUX conftest.c
configure:47414: $? = 0
configure:47428: result: yes
Perhaps my problem does have something to do with another error I get when I use VLC: When I type "vlc -H" I get the following error at the bottom of the list "[00000329] main module error: object is not attached". And I have no clue what this can be.
Anybody that can help out on this issue?
(Perhaps it's interesting to mention that when I just use URPMI to install VLC-0.8.5-plf everything simply works. I'm using a Mandriva 2006 Linux distro)
