Need help with VLC, libdvdcss, etc using SLED 10

I'm new to not only SLED but Linux/Unix in general - trying to kick the Windows addiction. SLED seems like a pretty good candidate to let me finally say goodbye to MS. HOWEVER, i now can't watch any videos/WMV's , etc. Everythng went fine on my install - no issues what-so-ever. I've been trying to get this video thing to work for days. Have read numerous articles, downloaded all kinds of stuff - but no luck. The best article i've found is http://www.pcc-services.com/build_dvdcss.html . Really thought i had it - but i must be doing something wrong. I tried going to http://packman.links2linux.org/?action=377 but what do i do with all these files? And i don't actually see SLED anywhere. Would any of these work with SLED? Please help!!!
