DVB receiving

Postby lkondrad » 14 Apr 2006 18:04

Hello

I am working with DVB-H and I have few question about VLC.

1. With using dvbnet, szap, tcpdump I can dump packets from dvb-h, I also have sdp file and I though that I could use VLC to see vide and audio by using sdp file, but it doesn't see my dvb0_0 network interface. I have information : ipv4 private error: failed to join IP multicast group (No such device)
any ideas??

2. I would ask if it possible to by command line to run vlc to decode one particular PID without looking in PAT then in PMT ??

3. I was thinking about add something to ts decoding, when it would find stream id 90 i could take datagrams and send them like multicast. Is it possible??
I was reading the code and I think it is but because the API documentations it is really old it will take me some time.

Could you give me any hints??

BR

Lukasz
