Postby fbsdolot » 25 Jan 2006 14:52

Hi!
VLC on RedHat 9.0 is compiled.
We attempt to translate video file by VLC (as server) but errors arise (see below) - mpgv-codek etc...

pls, help to do something to receive video from VLC by WindowsMediaPlayer ...

Thanks,

I have the same problem when streaming to ASF with a WMV1 or WMV2 video stream on CentOS 4.2 (=RedHat Enterprise 4).
It works with a DIV3 format, but not with WMV1/2.
VLC is compiled with libmpeg2 and ffmpeg support.

Any ideas?

wmv2 is ok but you can use the vb:mp3 , when you compile you should ./configure --enable-mp3lame
