VLC Media Player Crashing on Fedora Linux v40

Hello. I write to the forum today to seek aid concerning VLC Media Player. You see, VLC media player keeps crashing when attempting to play DVDs or video files in general. I'm begining to assume that it is an issue with Mesa or the AMDGPU driver, but I need someone to confirm this theory of mine. (I already tested other video players, and they also crash).

It looks like the shader compiler is crashing due to an assertion failure, yes.

You can try to select XVideo, RENDER or X11 video output modules instead of GL.
