[SOLVED] Recent problem in Vetinari 3.0.21

Okay; I disabled hardware acceleration and the problem's gone. Hopefully this helps someone else!

All of a sudden, VLC won't allow a) continue from where I left off or b) skip forward - either using scroll or the skip buttons. Clues welcome. Error message as follows:
