VLC 3.0.20 Vetinari crashes when trying to convert using Fedora 39

I am new here!

I was viewing a tutorial on youtube on how to compress video files using VLC. I clicked 'media' then the "convert/stream" menu item, and before the convert menu even shows up VLC crashes!

And yes I opened the terminal and opened VLC from there, here is the error message I got:
