Posted: 20 Aug 2023 03:42
Running a fresh install of Debian 12 and VLC 3.0.18 Vetinari.
I can use VLC to play back 720p/1080p versions of TV shows and movies with zero problems. But, every, single time I try and play a 1080p -=REMUX=- file, VLC crashes:
DMESG log:
VLC doesn't seem to like playing back remux files. Using an i7 7700K CPU, 16 gigs of ram. I stink at reading dmesg logs. Intel video driver problem?
