open network stream for youtube was working fine before but now not working

I retrieved LUA script but no video, instead I am getting the orange flash bar across the lower bottom of VLC window. I can see the youtube video address at the bottom and the top of VLC window. That's as close as I am getting, although it was working for me 1-2 year ago. I need to get this working.

It is certain that YouTube has been changed to break non-browser downloads.

Is it possible that YouTube has 'forced' Videolan to change their code to stop downloading!

I couldn't see anything with YTDL acronym (above), so which one?

If you meant youtube-dl version 2021.06.06-1, I already have it installed according to my package manager

Is Discord the only place that we can discuss issues with youtube-dl or can we do that here on VLC forum as well?
