Postby soypacaci » 21 Dec 2005 11:42

hi

Code: Select all

vlc --longhelp --advanced
gives that
...
...

MPEG Encoding cards input (with ivtv drivers)
--pvr-caching <integer> Caching value in ms
--pvr-device <string> Device
--pvr-norm {0 (Automatic), 8323072 (SECAM), 255 (PAL), 12288 (NTSC)}
Norm
--pvr-width <integer> Width
--pvr-height <integer> Height
--pvr-frequency <integer> Frequency
--pvr-framerate <integer> Framerate
--pvr-keyint <integer> Key interval
--pvr-bframes <integer> Framerate
--pvr-bitrate <integer> Bitrate
--pvr-bitrate-peak <integer>
Bitrate peak
--pvr-bitrate-mode {0 (vbr), 1 (cbr)}
Bitrate mode (vbr or cbr)
--pvr-audio-bitmask <integer>
Audio bitmask
--pvr-channel <integer> Channel
--pvr-caching <integer> Caching value in ms

...
...
1) are those parameters updated? for example i cant see maxbitrate here and if i use bitrate-peak instead of maxbitrate vlc is not working.

2) i want to change frame rate but i dont want to use transcoding. is it posible by using --pvr-framerate. i tried lots of times and i could not.

3) are there any documentation which covers all those parameters? at least may you explain pvr parameters in detail?

thank you ...

paca
