We had crystal HD support, but I think that was not tested for long time.

You'll need to build your own VLC to enable it
:!: If you want your problem to be solved :
* First read troubleshooting guide VSG:Main
* Always provide verbose LOGS ! (command line or from gui)
* Always check your issue against a developer build from Nightly Build of VLC
* Tell us when your problem is solved !

I try to check CrystalHD support, by using this command:

Code: Select all

vlc --list | grep crystalhd
This give me a response:

Code: Select all

VLC media player 3.0.8 Vetinari (revision 3.0.8-0-gf350b6b5a7) crystalhd Crystal HD - sprzętowy dekoder wideo
Is this enought to support hardware accelerated transcoding?

As I said, no one really tested for a long time. (at least not main devs have the hardware)
It's up to you
