Monitor VLC

Postby ndr261 » 25 Apr 2017 13:22

Hi all,
We are using VLC (CLI) on Debian and ubuntu server. We use it to stream. But sometimes, we get macrobloc, freeze on the stream. We want to know what happen exactly on it during this moment.
File and server is also OK.
My question is: is there a way to monitor VLC command line interface error? How to get them (snmp?)?
Could someone help me please.
Thanks
