Postby TemplateR » 15 Apr 2017 11:06

Hello,

I´m new hera and I need a solution of my problem.

I wanted to watch blu-rays on my notebook with my "Slim portable blu-ray writer" from LG. I have already installed keys database and AACS dynamic library on my Linux Distribution "Solus", but vlc always say unvalid aacs data.

Does has anyone a solution?

Best regards

The key database probably doesn't have a key for the disc you are trying to play

If you go into the keydb.cfg file you can search for the specific disc you have. Alternatively, you could just try several different discs.

You might use the software from http://dvdfab.cn/passkey-lite.htm
But I am not sure if the light version will work for all of your BluRays - I used only the full product during the trial period.

Note - you have to use vlc-3.0.0 and a proper java re to watch BluRays with Java Menus.
