Postby drus » 09 Nov 2005 13:50

i have problem with vlc.
when attempting to start vlc i recieve the following message:

18:49:19: Error: Failed to initialize GUI: no built-in themes found.

my configure line:

./configure --enable-x11 --enable-xvideo --disable-gtk --enable-sdl --enable-ffmpeg --with-ffmpeg-mp3lame --enable-mad --enable-libdvbpsi --enable-a52 --enable-dts --enable-libmpeg2 --enable-dvdnav --enable-faad --enable-vorbis --enable-ogg --enable-theora --enable-faac --enable-mkv --enable-freetype --enable-fribidi --enable-speex --enable-flac --enable-livedotcom --with-livedotcom-tree=/usr/lib/live --enable-caca --enable-skins --enable-skins2 --enable-alsa --disable-kde --disable-qt --enable-wxwindows --enable-ncurses --enable-release --enable-v4l

what's wrong?

hmmm. i recompiled wxWidgets with the following configure line:

Code: Select all

./configure --enable-monolithic --enable-gui --enable-plugins --enable-shared
and now it works. but there are some wx-mistakes when opening file from vlc. just in the console, vlc works fine
