Exit if there is nothing to play

Postby limiteddi » 19 Jan 2017 18:37

Is there any way to make VLC quit if there is no more input? By default the app is still running with "Nothing to play" response.

Try it with: Advanced Preferences -> Playlist -> Play and exit

How about in command line? --play-and-exit does not work

I don't know what you mean then. --play-and-exit makes VLC quit when it reaches the end of the playlist.
