VLC with VBrick MPEG-2 TS

Postby Scott Talbert » 21 Oct 2005 16:42

Hi all,

I have using VLC 0.4.4 for several years decoding an MPEG-2 TS from a VBrick over unicast UDP using the following syntax:

vlc udp:@:4444

Recently, I decided to try give version 0.8.2 a try. Unfortunately, I cannot seem to get it to run. When I launch VLC 0.8.2 with the same syntax, I get the following errors:

libdvbpsi error (PSI decoder): TS duplicate (received 15, expected 0)
libdvbpsi error (misc PSI): Bad CRC_32 (0x82d6a248) !!!

The latter message repeats continuously.

So my questions:
1) Did the syntax change for decoding an MPEG-2 TS over UDP?
2) Am I missing some external functionality that I needed to compile in? What external libraries are required for decoding an MPEG-2 TS over UDP?
3) Any other ideas?

Thanks,
Scott
