The VLC crashes when playing video

Postby jefersonebel » 06 May 2016 02:20

First, pardon me for my bad English, I 'm Brazilian

----------------------------------------------------------------
When I open a video using VLC, it stops responding , so I did the next test, open directly vlc , he opened normally , but when I ran a video , he stopped responding again , did another test , opening the terminal and typing " VLC " , the program opened normally, but when I ran a video , was shown the following information on the terminal :

Code: Select all

jeferson@Jeferson-PC:~$ vlc VLC media player 2.2.2 Weatherwax (revision 2.2.2-0-g6259d80) [0000000000da1148] core libvlc: Executando o VLC com a interface padrão. The problem cam to a few weeks yet in version 10.15 of Ubuntu , after some updates, but now in 16.04 LTS is still occurring , Googled for a solution but have not found.

How to proceed to solve ?

That's not much infos to answer the question.

I can only guess your display drivers are buggy.

For crash report, a symbolic threaded stack trace is somewhat obviously needed.
