How do I disable PDF file handling

Postby vtd » 07 Jun 2015 21:10

When I drag a folder to the playlist, VLC tries to open every PDF file inside that folder apart from audio/video files. The PDFs halt playback and it has to be resumed manually. How do I disable PDFs from being open in VLC?

Attention: the trouble is NOT with the system file type association, PDFs open in evince when opened in the file manager. The trouble i VLC recognizing them as something that can be added to the playlist.

You can add it to the blacklist in the preferences.
