Installation on opensuse 13.1 vlc-codecs

It seems that the installation for opensuse 13.1 is a bit difficult now.
It used to be very easy, but after painfully finding all the dependencies on the opensuse software site there is one remaining when trying to install the vlc-codecs

Resolving package dependencies...
2 Problems:
Problem: nothing provides libgpg-error.so.0(GPG_ERROR_1.0)(64bit) needed by vlc-noX-2.1.5-119.1.x86_64
Problem: nothing provides libgpg-error.so.0(GPG_ERROR_1.0)(64bit) needed by vlc-noX-2.1.5-119.1.x86_64

Problem: nothing provides libgpg-error.so.0(GPG_ERROR_1.0)(64bit) needed by vlc-noX-2.1.5-119.1.x86_64

Trying to find the missing library....

whereis libgpg-error.so.0
libgpg-error.so: /usr/lib/libgpg-error.so /usr/lib/libgpg-error.so.0 /usr/lib64/libgpg-error.so /usr/lib64/libgpg-error.so.0

The thing is still there, but the installation refuses to find it.
Pretty much out of ideas.

See with your SuSE packager.

You've probable already resolved your issue, but... others may want to know possible resolution...

Add repo (repository) for PackMan...
ftp://ftp.uni-erlangen.de/pub/mirrors/p ... SUSE_13.1/ (change the version to yours, 12.2, 13.2 etc)
*note: you can navigate up to parent directory (/pub/mirrors/packman/suse/) and look around too.

I've NEVER had any luck with opensuse's vlc anything, especially vlc nox (No X-Window frontend) and codecs'.
openSuse is run by gaycentric fools who delete, remove, rename directories (repos), seemingly daily.

running older, perfectly working versions of os sucks, because they remove the repos and adding even debug on your system becomes impossible.

hope this helps.
Landis.
