VLC 2.2.0 -rc2 Weatherwax

Hi
I have installed VLC2.2.0 under Fedora 21. It seems, for the most part to be working well. I do have one question however. When I try to move forward in a movie to specific Chapters using Playback it will stop the playback altogether and I have to start over. This is with a music video and it has a chapter for each song. If I jump to Chapter 14 or higher it stops playing. Is there a setting that I can change, in Inputs/Codecs or elsewhere, that will allow me to move forward in Chapters without the Playback stopping?
Robert

Hi
Yes. No problem except it is 7.5 GB in size. How do I get it to you?

From the menu it shows all 25 chapters in the list of playback choices (metadata I assume in .vob1). If I choose one beyond 14, even with the <next chapter> option, it stops the playback. My music Video (Ripped with Haupauge by a friend) is Alison Krauss in a concert in Louisville, Kentucky. I have it saved on hard drive as a set of .vob files. In order to verify that it is VLC I decided to play the DVD itself and see what happened. Bingo! It worked perfectly.
Solution --> when my friend ripped the DVD Haupage broke up the .vob files into files less in size than the 2^32 limit of 2.1 GBytes (win32 limit). Hence when I am playing it back from the Ripped Version VLC cannot know where chapter 14 is, as it is on the next .vob file, so it stops playing. This, of course, will happen everytime the next chapter (or specified one) is on a different .vob file and I ask it to move forward. VLC very conveniently moves from one to the other .vob files in order, which is a blessing as they are consecutively numbered and in one directory. I am sorry that I did not figure this one out before I posted my issue. Your program rocks! Have a great day:)

I can't find a "Post" option to create a new post. Am I blind?
Have to go via "Post Reply"!
I have the sparkling new 2.2.0 Weatherwax, but (besides the snapshot problem raised in another stream) I have a problem with Logo position: it doesn't make any difference, the logo is always centred (with anchor mid-left, so overall positioned right of centre). Opacity works, but sometimes not without stopping/starting the video.
Changing the Position parameters makes no difference.
Also, Logo-erase seems to have no effect whatsoever.
