VLC crash when selecting XVideo

Postby Fredo_p » 10 Feb 2015 07:42

VLC crashes when I perform the following:
  1. go to tools>preferences
  2. Under "show settings" select "All"
  3. Go to Video>Output modules>
  4. select XVideo
After doing the above, you either get VLC to freeze then crash or just crash.

VLC 2.1.4

OS
-Version-
Kernel : Linux 3.13.0-45-generic (i686)
Distribution : Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS
-Current Session-
Desktop Environment : LXDE (Lubuntu)

Hmm.

I'll have to see if it's on Lubuntu's end with XVideo.
