I have Problems with the install from the console. Because it shows these errors.:

error: Failed dependencies:

        libwx_gtk2u_adv-2.5.so.3 is needed by vlc-0.8.2-1.pm.1
        libwx_gtk2u_adv-2.5.so.3(WXU_2.5) is needed by vlc-0.8.2-1.pm.1
        libwx_gtk2u_core-2.5.so.3 is needed by vlc-0.8.2-1.pm.1
        libwx_gtk2u_core-2.5.so.3(WXU_2.5) is needed by vlc-0.8.2-1.pm.1
        libwx_gtk2u_html-2.5.so.3 is needed by vlc-0.8.2-1.pm.1
        libwx_gtk2u_xrc-2.5.so.3 is needed by vlc-0.8.2-1.pm.1

I can install VLC over YAST but its only in the MacOX-Design and has no Menue. The Console shows these Errors:

Add one of the SuSE Mirrors to your Yast source or insert the CD/DVD you installed SuSE from. Start Yast and search for wxGTK and install it.

You shouldn't ignore dependency with Yast. There is a reason if a RPM depend from other RPMs.
