Hi,

I'm using VLC media player 0.8.4-svn Janus (today) and I can't open files from gui, it says:

[00000255] main input error: no suitable access module for `'
[00000248] main playlist: nothing to play
[00000248] main playlist: stopping playback

but it plays fine if I do it from command line like:

vlc dvd:///dev/hdc

What ¡s wrong?

I forgot to say that I'm using Ubuntu Breezy following intructions from nanocrew.net
