Play newest in folder

Postby Fhajad » 25 Nov 2012 22:10

I was wondering if there's any way in VLC or external of VLC to basically set it to stream the newest file in a folder.

So if I have "Video" folder, and there's File#1 and File#2, and File#2 is newer than #1, it will automatically stream #2 out on a designated udp multicast via the command line. While #2 is playing, if there's a File#3 then added in, it'd automatically stop playing #2 and start streaming out #3.
