Video freezes after ~1sec, Audio plays at warp speed

I am running Ubuntu 12.04 on my desktop and laptop. I have VLC on both as well, and both started acting up at the same time yesterday, which coincidentally was right after I did some system updates - on both. It had been a few days since my last update, and I assume the VLC 2.0.3 update was in there. Everything was working perfectly before I noticed this change.

The problem is as the title describes: start a video, the initial ~1 second will play, then the audio seems to go into overdrive like I'm fast forwarding an old tape player. All of my media is stored on a NAS on my local network. The network is full gigabit, as are all devices connected to it that are playing the media. XBMC plays media over the network on a third Ubuntu computer just fine (haven't tried VLC on there). There is a slight difference between local and remote media, but overall the debug logs look much the same. When I tried copying a file locally, the video would actually play, but occasionally pixelate, and the audio was more normal, if not a little choppy on occasion.

Hmm, can you pastebin the messages log? To get it, go to Tools→Messages, set verbosity to "2", and play the media again. The log will appear in that window.

I tried, they were too big. Are the Dropbox links to the logs in my original post not working for you?
