update, "vlc does not support that.. format..

I'm video playback problems. Since I updated, I have audio and No Video.
I get Error: "No suitable decoder module: (red text)
VLC does not support the audio or video format "h264". Unfortunately there is no way for you to fix this."
EVERY TIME it's a different 'format' name or number.
I've tried the beta and have 'downgraded' my vlc on openSuSE 12.1 and KDE 4.8.4 (updated from kde, not opensuse)

Why? I love,, loved my VLC on Linux.

Landis.

Either your VLC package is crap or the installation failed. VLC is missing some key parts ther.

I had exactly the same problem the old version of VLC played almost all the formats I wanted but the new 2.0.2 & 2.0.3 don't seem to want to play anything. I get the same errors but there doesn't seem to be any help out there.

I don't know if this will help but I removed the VLC repository and updated most of the codecs using the pacman repository not entirely sure how I did it but definitely updated these two ffmpeg & Libdvdcss yast2 depency resolution did the rest, it seems that I'm almost back to where I was. hope this helps, I'm running VLC 2.0.2 twoflower on opensuse 11.4 but hopefully will work on 12.1
