I try vlc ver. 0.8.5 , but timer doesn't work.
So I go back to ver. 0.7.2
With my experience that ver. is better than the last one.

The timer is broken due to internal changes, I'll fix it when I have a day or two off without anyone to distract me...
The upcoming 0.8.6 release will be significantly better on BeOS than 0.8.5 was. It'll likely still have the broken timer, but UTF8 characters in file names work again, it crashes far less often, binary size is smaller, and many codecs are faster - last two mostly due to better compilers.
