I really think that you guys should develop VideoLAN Client for the Nokia 770.
Right now, the Nokia 770 has mediocre Video and Audio support and I think that VideoLAN Client would be the best thing for it, since it plays just about every Video and Audio format.

Someone has started trying to port VLC to N770, you can find the link in the ApplicationCatalog on http://www.maemo.org, but it's quite complex.
The N770 has a hardware decoder, but its specs are not open, it is operated by a closed-source gstreamer module, and we can't use it at the moment.
