subtitles

Postby bhikumhatre007 » 24 Feb 2006 20:30

Hi,

I use FC4 and installed vlc through yum today. I tried to run a few files with subtitles and unfotunately none of them worked.

the error was as follows:
[00000341] freetype private error: failed to load font file /usr/share/fonts/truetype/freefont/FreeSerifBold.ttf
could anyone please help me understand why?

You can set the font in the Preferences dialog (Video > Subtitles > Text renderer > Font)

Return to “VLC media player for Linux and friends Troubleshooting”
