reading DVD with VLC

Bonjour à tous
I am trying to read DVD with VLC on my laptop under fedora 40. Vlc in this configuration read perfectly music cdrom but when i try to read a dvd, choosing the right option in the "media" panel, i get :
"DVDRead n’a pas pu ouvrir le disque « /dev/sr0 »"
the libdvdcss and vlc-plugin-freeworld command are installed
Has somebody an idea of the origin of this problem ?
