same file perfect in VLC for windows and stuttering in Linux VLC

Postby allegfede » 08 Apr 2024 12:23

hello, i've got a Campark's X30 action cam, that generate video like this one:
https://mega.nz/file/9kMAhJ6K#mOwCWexa5 ... s84s2aHMvY

that plays perfect with windows vlc, but is stuttering and damaged using VLC on linux systems.

any idea of what would appen?

PS: at the moment i have to transcode them under windows, transfer them back on my linux machine to edit with kdenlive. But this degrade video quality, 'cause i have also to render the final work.

Make sure tou have the same VLC and FFmpeg versions on Linux that work properly on Windows? You can also try to disable hardware acceleration.
